I know we’re still high on this W but I’m absolutely not confident going back to Boston next game. If we are getting hosed by the refs on our own court, imagine what’s gonna happen when we’re on the road

  2. autostart17

How did Melton only get 2 shots after a great game 3?

  3. RooksTarutaru

It didn’t feel like it but we won or tied every quarter but the 4th where we lost 24-15.

  4. Woolier-Mammoth

Man the irony of Smart hitting that game winner after the buzzer after the game earlier in the year when Embiid did the same thing from 3Q court.

The NBA.. I really love this game.

  5. aspiringplebeian

Either McDaniel’s or Reed needs more playing time alongside Embiid/Harris. We need length, athleticism, and rebounding.

  6. Kxrx1209

Mark Jones was dropping 🔥 this game. He said at the end, “Just as everybody was ready to turn the lights out on James Harden, he turns the lights out on Boston.” What a line. PERFECT.

  7. StarCW50

Celtics open as 7.5 point favorites next games feels disrespectful

  8. daprocess21

Might be an unpopular opinion, but Melton needs to closeout the game instead of Maxey. Maxey is having a hard time penetrating and is a weak link defensively.

  9. hazeynights215

Bring Maxey off the bench. Might take some pressure off starting and shake some things up for Boston game plan.

  10. flockofmoose

Harden with 42 and a -6 on 4 FTs, what is this reality

  11. Basedgod1017

Must win game 5 win to close out at home is what we all want!!!

  12. GRAYNOTE_

Harris game high +14 shows the stat is broken

  13. Whitealroker1

This is reminding me to much of the hawks series which was DOOMDOOMDOOM…omg we might win….Ben Simmons.

  14. burntemu

I cannot stand Doris Burke. Once someone pointed out her accent/speech impediment, I cannot unheard it . Great win! And Smart totally should have been called for blocking

  15. GirlWithGame

I love Embiid flat out Said he was bad and he’ll be better. No excuses even though I can argue he has some. Injury, conditioning but realizes he needs to be better to win them the series.

Shout out Harden you deserve all the credit for this series being 2-2.

  16. EaglesPvM

Doc rivers emphatically shitting on that Tatum push off no-call in this post game presser is amazing

  17. nimblestjack

I’m happy Grant was able to be on the floor after that stomp accident last game.

FTCs – but I appreciate his toughness.

  18. Cant believe I got to watch this live

I said before the game I was gonna buy a jersey but didn’t know who, although I didn’t want Harden considering the possibility he left this offseason

Lo and behold I am in my car wearing a Harden jersey after that

Celtics fans in my section were heckling all game about the nuggets we didn’t win from CFA, so of course as we left I yelled “WE DIDNT GET NUGGETS BUT WE GOT A W”

and on my way out I got DHouse and Kork to wave to me on their way to their cars

One of the best experiences of my life. James Harden you have done miracles on me.

Maxey is such a conundrum this series. A lot of you guys are saying he should go to the bench, but I’m not sure how he’ll respond at this stage. I would like to think that it won’t crater his confidence, but I’m not sure. He’s already playing bad now; if Doc puts him on the bench, we run the risk of getting absolutely nothing from him.

We have Shake, and we really should go to him just a little, just to see what he can do against Boston. This is not the time for Doc to be stubborn. Just throw a little jeopardy in there, throw another look at the Celtics to see where we can pull away a hair. We’re still the underdog and can’t afford to just let decent guys sit.

Small note: Niang has shocked me by being pretty low-key decent. He bungled that foul against Tatum, but other than that, I wouldn’t say he’s been a detriment, and his floor spacing has made him an ever so slight net positive.

  20. Skullastic

Every guard picked over harden for the all star game with the exception of jaylen brown and steph curry are currently out of the playoffs….

  21. thisisbyrdman

Let’s chill with the “Harden won us two games!!” stuff.

I’m really glad he was great tonight. He was also historically awful in games 2 and 3, and was the main reason we lost on Friday.

If the Sixers want to win this series, Embiid and Harden are both going to have to be good. Embiid is playing really well despite his knee and resulting conditioning issues. Harden cannot, under any circumstances, turn in another 4-for-18 performance or we’re cooked.

  22. catchfire429

I lost a few years off my life on this game but what a win. James Harden is my point guard and yah, the nets won the trade.
Seriously, need to play with that 1st half aggression every quarter for the rest of the playoffs and the NBA needs to stop letting Tatum/Brown get away with the full arm push offs. FTC and send John Hao to Boston for game 5!!!

  23. mooNy_pZ

I loved hearing the song play before the refs even reviewed the smart 3 at the end

  24. young-buddha

I thought Milton is pretty good? Why is he getting DNP CDs?

  25. chefmikey417

Woke up 3:30 am local time to watch this game and I almost had a heart attack several times. There’s gotta be something in this for us who have suffered so much the past several post seasons. It was nice to have a lead most of the game. If only we get to keep it. It was still a miracle we pulled it off with that Joel and 1 being wiped out and that blatant offensive foul from Tatum. We have a chance if it’s a close game. I really hope Harden keeps this up and that Joel stops playing Hero Ball.

  26. juiceindem

This is random but am I the only one that thinks Danuel House could be really helpful in this series ?

  27. Grozdaddy

I’m still in shock that Tatum push off wasn’t called, considering how every game has been called.
