[Mat Ishbia] Great win for the Suns last night in an amazing series so far! That should be and is the only story. Suspending or fining anyone over last nights incident would not be right. I have alot of respect for Jokic and don’t want to see anything like that. Excited for game 5! Go Suns!

Wow quite releiving! Maybe they can have a shake hands moment on court in game 6 so that everything around that can be finally finished.
What a fucking pussy lol
That should end the discussion. Good for him.
wtf i love ishbia now
He should apologize
That fan is a chode!
Glad he made a level-headed statement. Kudos.
I guess the part where he apologizes for physically intervening in a playoff game is the next tweet, right?
For a fan that said that we look bad as fanbase here (ofc he del that comment):
Fck Suns and all about them, fck 76ers, fck whole LA, maybe add Portland without Dame and fck Gol… ups, sry, Draymond Green!
This guy could tweet end world hunger and this sub would destroy him
It’s Adam Silver that will make the decision, but Ishbia is technically his boss.
Respect
Hi, I’m Suns fan coming in peace, my name is Ishbia.
I give him props for this statement
LOL.
No apology or owning up to what he did. Wild that a fan can play keep away with the basketball, smack it out of a player’s hands, player shoves so he gets a technical foul.
Well that’s a relief. Was ready to riot
This has been an amazing series, and should be allowed to play itself out on the floor. Suspending Jokic for something the other team’s owner instigated (and quite honestly that was the kind of flop that would make his players proud) would be extremely short sided by the league.
I would bet his front office is working behind the scenes to try and get Joker suspended
One touch from Jokic and he instantly became a fan aww
He should at least apologize for what he did imo. If I was Adam, I would not allow for him to sit court-side for the rest of the playoffs.
– Held the ball & didn’t give it back to the team in possession
– Slapped it out of Jokić’s hands when he grabbed it
– Initiated physical contact with Jokić & then flopped when it was returned, costing Denver a technical foul
– Inciting other spectators to make physical contact with Jokić
No one should be above the rules as a court-side spectator, it should not matter if you are part of ownership/management.
I’m glad that nothing major happened, but it could have escalated quite a bit beyond what we saw. Imagine if one of those fans started throwing punches or injured Jokić, what happens then?
This Ishbia guy reeks of main character syndrome. You’re not a member of the team or coaching staff. Nobody came to see you at the game. Just give up the ball & let the players continue with the game.
Booker’s comments were also very disappointing. Now we’re going to have fans refusing to give the ball to the opposing team in an attempt to aggravate them into punishable actions (techs, ejections, suspensions).
Meanwhile he sent a separate email to the league office with a doctor note about significant bruising and blunt force trauma
He absolutely didn’t write that, but good on his PR team for writing that
About as diplomatic a response as we could have gotten. I think he realizes that anyone other than Suns fans think that he was the asshole in all this, but good on him for actually accepting it. I’m sure other owners might have been total dicks about it.
He should have apologized.
