That’s why I say this narrative of AD being inconsistent is off. They only say he’s inconsistent when he doesn’t dominate on offense. Yet, they will turn around and say, “When you don’t have it going offensively, you need to find ways to impact the game in other ways” He has consistently done that on defense and rebounding. AD has been consistent, they just want to cherry pick shyt. It is understandable why he abandoned social media and why Bron told the team to leave it and TV alone to focus on the task at hand.

Hellllllll noooo I’m not counting Game 6 vs Memphis a bad game at all. Dude AD literally had arguably his best playoff game that series when he scored 16. Box scores always tell a different story, but AD turned it up to a whole other level on defense in that close out game. Best player on the floor by far in game 6 vs Memphis.

Laker Nation has changed my perspective on AD. I can see now that I was hard on him for not being perfect. And I underappreciated his exceptional defense. My Laker anxiety got the better of me. It really hurts to watch them lose. AD has played like a champ!
