Let’s be real AD would have like 3 DPOY if he stayed healthy. He’s always the front runner, gets hurt, people forget about him, and then he can’t makeup ground when he plays again.
I do think he has a very good shot of winning it next year just as long as he touches the minimum games needed. I actually don’t see how he doesn’t win it as confident as it sounds. The narrative will be “how can a player that good never have a DPOY?” Granted, AD doesn’t need narrative to win but let’s be real it plays a huge part in these awards
