[Anthony Slater] Andrew Wiggins appeared to first show rib discomfort after this box out crack of LeBron James in the middle of the fourth quarter. Kept grabbing at his ribs the next few minutes. Costal cartilage fracture. His Game 6 status is in question. Here is a look.

Lebron seemed to be targeting that spot on wiggs multiple times. He’s also been frustrated with Wiggs on him this whole series, pushing him after plays and such.

Oh man.. I hope Wiggs is alright. We need him more now than ever

Gonna wear Rib protection like smart with his chest

What a beast playing through that. Didn’t notice at the time but he was clearly in pain. Other players would exaggerate all contact from then on out

What’s the usual recover time for an injury like this?

  6. SeekingSignificance

We’re the dirty free throw merchants tho

The LeBron elbow maneuver. Subtle but effective. More importantly, invisible to the Refs when in stealth mode. Guaranteed to fracture or your money back.

To be fair that’s not a foul. LeBrons just boxing out. Put his shoulder down for leverage. just an unlucky hit. Fucking sucks. I’ve broken a rib before and it’s legit impossible to breathe more than tiny shallow breaths once that shit swells up. He could be out for 3 weeks, minimum.

Klay and Poole better get with it real fast.

Wiggs has been refreshingly consistent next to the rest of our inconsistent line up. We really need him to pull through on this one, hope he’s alright

That’s weird. He didn’t fall and roll around on the floor and swing his arms around. He must be faking it. /s.

But the warriors are the dirty team, bron elbows wiggins every fucking play and nobody talks about that

Lebron will get injured next round just watch

    Karma

I’ve hated Lebron since “The Decisión,” And plays like this remind me exactly why.

  14. Dirty a$$ LeBron James. Sick of this dude ruining greatness

If Wigs can’t play, Dray will need to score 25!

Fuck this is bad, especially if that information is out there. They gonna poster him they entire game

This is way worse than the whole flopping debacle, but still part of the whole foul disparity discussion. Can you really ram into someone like that on a box out? It’s one thing to fight for position, but here there seems to be a wind up, as he lowers his center of gravity and then launches into the side of Wiggins, possibly with his shoulder.

I wish nothing but the worst on Lebron

People were tripping over themselves to call Looney a dirty player because of incidental contact on a regular play and judging him on the result of AD being hurt…

Well, Wiggs is hurt from contact made by LBJ, so now what?

Of course they won’t keep that same energy for their faux goat Bron Bron lol.

Meanwhile A.D. needed to be rolled out of there in a wheelchair from a light slap in the face
