Tbh that game didn’t even feel as bad as some of the earlier games in this series lol. I just want a couple calls today that are just objectively wrong and in our favor. Because the Celtics have gotten at least a couple every game and it’s complete bs.

Yeah now tally the entire series. It’s most likely even more lopsided
the goaltending was bad, but the big moment in my eyes was the ridiculous call saying that it was celtics ball after embiid blocked williams. we ended up taking 10 minutes to review an extremely obvious call, completely spoiling all of the momentum we built up to control the game. we would have been 100% better off just not even challenging it at all and letting play resume considering how much momentum we had

And btw that probably doesn’t include the momentum-killing sequence where Joel gets a block off of Williams, clear as day, but they called it out on Joel. So Doc has to challenge the call wasting time. But wait, not only do we have to stop the game for that, but the officials decide now’s the perfect time to fix a *completely different* fuck-up on their part and make Maxey re-shoot free throws that Joel shot at least five minutes earlier.
So basically what could have been a huge momentum swing where the home crowd is going wild, it brings the game to a complete halt. The points and possessions didn’t change, but if you watch basketball you know the momentum absolutely matters.
Fucking pathetic. The game is rigged and I’m tired of people telling me the refs are bad for both teams.
NBA is far and away the shadiest of the four major leagues in this country. It’s so blatantly easy to massively influence these playoff games with zero repercussions
