If a T10-15 player requests a trade I think the Knicks should be over all of it as they have young players and picks. Adding shooting to the team is a major target too

Itās so funny that every year people are pushing for certain players to get traded as if any other team truly wants them.

This is the most successful team for the Knicks in years its absolutely not a failure its a big success and Brunson is the real deal. Now a prime time superstar might want to go to the Knicks to help them win a ring. Im disappointed in randle but we all knew the dude aint a postseason player. But RJ has show flashes of brilliance, Quickley and Grimes are quality players and I like hart. There only going to get better. Just like the kings first round out wasnt a failure the Knicks should build off of this many thought they would loose to Cleveland so Id say they overachieved.

If the Knicks run it back, theyāll get 50+ wins, but theyāll struggle in the playoffs due to, again, a lack of real ball handlers, shooting, and Randles constant decline in performance during that time of the year.
Ideally randle is traded, but I donāt really see a scenario where the Knicks get ābetterā as a result of trading him. The dude is 2nd and 3rd team all NBA so itāll be hard to replace that production regardless of the mental inconsistency, laps in effort, and situational IQ.
The one move the Knicks can make however would be some veteran shooting to fill out that second unit. Obviously fournier is a real solid shooter, he just canāt play defense worth a lick so thatās definitely a hole to fill in the roster. Outside of that, the young guys like RJ, IQ, grimes, and Mitch will have to continue to improve as they have already for the Knicks to further their ceiling
Knicks are an upcoming team. Imagine being a sixers fan today. 2 MVP caliber players, vets with a series lead and lost.
Randle has the ultimate melo energy but on 11. Like when sheās not scoring heās not playing no defense. It reminds me of when Chauncey said, melo would be happy in Ls when he had 30. Either way at least he would always talk to the media. Julius is ass
Sometimes crazy people have talent and privilege. Frustrating for me too.
Basketball fans canāt sell this idea. Julius Randle is who he is. Last year it was heās not a 1 on a winning team, we get Brunson. Now heās not a 2 and would be better as a 3. We have to accept the fact that Julius is who he is. Heās a weak minded hothead, when thibs tells him to take control he doesnāt pass the ball. When thibs tells him to move the ball he causes so many stupid turnovers. Heās a regular season hero and history has repeated itself again in the playoffs. He seems to be a good father so for that I tip my cap and heās taken care of his family and they never have to worry again. But he is not going to find success in New York. I canāt imagine the front office is thinking otherwise. He gets out of his head and the rest of the game heās completely shot, walking in the backcourt when his teams on defense. New York is to big of a media market for him. Kissing his wife seconds after the game ended, telling us that the heat wanted it more in the postgame, I signed off on my opinions of Julius once he got in IQs face and shoved him. Experiments over trade him while heās still in his physical prime after two all nba nods and call it a day.
