Anfernee is a B+ Dame, so we don’t really need him, what we do need is some good perimeter defense ball handling since Simons is leaving, + Bucks are getting kinda old and a young potential All Star who is making less money then Jrue wouldn’t hurt. Maybe a few seconds or a heavily protected first goes to Portland cause bucks are going to save 12m a year.
In my opinion this trade would benefit both teams, but what about you?

No. The entire point of Jrue is to lock down other players and still score points. As a fan of both teams, Simmons may be even worse than Damian Lillard at playing defense…

If there are picks involved in this they’re definitely going *to* the Bucks lol
Simons is a good young player but he’s too young for the Bucks. The only way a framework like this makes sense is to send Simons and picks to a third team and good players to the Bucks, but we’re talking Simons + 2 FRPs for Jrue at a minimum.
Cant break up this team until we see them with a new coach.
I wouldn’t mind if they moved off Jrue but I think there’s more out there for him than just simons.

Jrue might be the better player overall but he is old and nearing retirement, we need to shake up the team, and his playoff TS% is literally worse than Bledsoe’s. Anfernee Simons might have some deficiencies, but Jrue has some glaring ones too and how long does it take for Simons to be clearly the better player?
