  1. No no no. Shooters? What makes a shooter is open shots. And you can’t get that without a post scoring threat. And you CAN’T get a post passer without a POST SCORING THREAT. Moreover, how many times did we see a pick and roll with no pass into the paint, DESPITE 1 on 1 coverage? Do we have enough of a short game with Mitch and Hartenstein? And RJ HAS TO DEVELOP A MIDRANGE GAME. LASTLY, Mitch…. And EVERYONE needs to workout a groove on the free throw line.

  2. Cam Johnson. Start him and Grimes and find a way to package Randle and RJ for a star

  3. I agree we need 3 point shooting, but also we need Scoring Development of our Centers. This may not be the best PR move but, since the Charlotte Hornets have the #2 and #27 picks, I say trade Julius Randle to the Hornets for Miles Bridges, Dennis Smith Jr. and the #27 pick in this draft. Since Immanuel Quickley wants to be a starter, trade him in a separate deal.

  4. Pretty evident we need offensive threat at center. Mitch doesn’t cut it as our championship center I’m sorry. He’s a great center for bench.
Also, a real 3 and D wing with size!

  5. What I'm not hearing them say is we need the right coach. One very clear thing this post season was that Thibs is not a coach that makes frequent game adaptations like a Spolestra, Kerr. I like what Monty Williams or Mark Jackson brings to the table. If you switch coaches in the heat, Knicks series, Knicks walk away with the series win

  6. I don't care what any body SAYS they are gonna work like hell to get some
body to play along side of OF BRUNSON BECAUSE if THEY DOINT he could leave in 3 years when his contract is up because BRUNSON AND JIM dolan knows BARRETT and RANDLE are not the answer to
    pressure PLAYOFFS PERIOD

  7. Respectfully, I don’t think any trade will move the needle forward on this team until they move away from Thibs. Thibs, like Doc Rivers are great at establishing a certain team culture, but it will take a different kind of coach to get this team to the next level. The team’s success this year can be attributed to one person and that’s Brunson, not Thibs. Thibs doesn’t cultivate confidence in his players, he takes it away from them. I think the Knicks had the better team in the Miami series, but clearly Thibs was out coached. Had he not been so stubborn, and had he believed in his players more the Knicks could have won the series. Yes, Fournier was a defensive liability, but he was also a threat from long range and the team needed long range shooting. I also think Deuce could have been utilized more in the Miami series, because he’s a high energy and good defensive player, but…..

  8. RJ is not going anywhere unless it's in a package deal for a star/ superstar. Keep hope alive with delusional thinking. He is not the problem if you put him back at the 2. RJ jumpsuit will look much better because he'll spend more time dominating SG and less time energy trying to defend bigger, stronger SF. Grimes to the bench because he's not a starter yet. He is too scared, and his shot is just as inconsistent as RJs. And that's all facts! Randle and Thibs, the Dinosaur 🦕 is the problem that the front office should be done with. Thibs doesn't utilize his players to their strengths. Instead, he exposes their weaknesses. WTH🤦‍♀️! If 3 championship coaches can get fired. Fire Thibs now. Put Spoelstra , udoka, kidd, Cassell, Johnny Bryant, Stackhouse, Mark Jackson in Thibs spot. They get the best from this same roster. Forward thinkers!

  9. I think we need a versatile 3-4 instead of a 4-5. Cam Johnson from the Nets could fill that role for us if we could get him. Nets are overloaded at the 3 position.

  10. A new coach PLEASE – unless you LIKE watching him get THOROUGHLY out-coached by Spoelstra again NEXT year….oh and Joel Embiid or Giannis. But honestly, if I had to choose – I'd rather us have a new coach and Obi Toppin starting at PF next year. He's averaging a little over 20 in games he starts – but Thibs has to go for him to thrive.

  11. Randle needs to go trade him for a solid PF that can give you 15 and 10 maybe a Bobby Portis then acquire a lengthy 3andD player like Tarean Prince. Move Rj to the 2 and put Grimes on the bench with IQ and Hart.

  12. When I look back at the knicks season, Jalen Brunson was ball dominant, because he had to be … which is not conducive to sustaining wins and getting past the second round. The reason he dribbled so much is because the knicks offense lacks movement and reliable 3pt shooting. If that were the case, Jalen will become more effective with less dribbling and more ball movement/penetration to create better offense from his teammates.

  13. ..Something NO ONE has discussed, but I have a number of times. No one is talking about the atrocious offensive production from the Center position. Mitch ain't gettin it. Mitch hasn't since he was selected. There has been NO upside. We keep getting the approximate 8 points and 8 rebounds we get, since he's come here. We need first and foremost, a center, a real center who can play both sides of the floor, one who can also create his own shot. We are two good players away from being able to beat everyone. Let's start with getting our team a center. joe.

  14. Maybe acquire Dillon Brooks for his defense? Buy low and hope he works out? Part of the midlevel exemption?

  15. 100% 3pt is our biggest hole they need a sniper to open that floor.

I think quickley will take another leap next season and he will fill a big hole hes a hard working guy and is motivated!

Thibbs is not the offensive mind this team needs.

  16. It’s not the right offense. Our pace needs to be FASTER. Less ISO. More off ball movement and cuts to the basket. Run more in transition and keep defenses on their toes. More shooting to create better spacing in the half court. That’s what this team needs

  17. I don't understand why nobody talks about the Knicks needing and getting a Center who can score the Basketball. Mitchell Robinson has NO OFFENSIVE GAME and Adebayo showed them what having a C who can score means. Having that option at Center will help Randle and Brunson will have someone who can be down low and draw the double team plus if he can come outside and shoot from the perimeter that will make this team tougher to defend.

  18. Development of the shooting on the roster , players need to be developed, time in the gym shooting shots . Guys played in g-league shooting lights out then sit the bench ?😮
