Bill Burr sees it, I see it, Tim Donaghy wrote a book about it. What do you think?

It isn’t always an incorrect call, but I think there is something to the refs controlling the flow and massaging the results with inconsistent ways of calling a game with in the game.

the NBA is closer to the WWE than a legitimate sports league. it’s pure entertainment. it’s fun, but taking it super seriously seems silly.

and the more they buddy up with sportsbooks, the worse it looks.

Bad calls ≠ Rigged. Personally I believe that there’s too many factors that aren’t controllable (shots, missing, turnovers) is it possible that some teams get a favorable whistle, yeah. But I won’t go as far to say rigged

it’s just the arrogance of youth to think that your generation would never do those things.

The World Series was rigged, Donaghy admitted to rigging games, our own Indianapolis Olympians were caught point shaving. The list of match fixing scandals is as long as a novel and that’s just what they’ve caught.

Wembanyama is projected to add 500M to the value of his team and that’s just his rookie season, he’ll make billions for the NBA. The Lakers-Warriors series was the most watched semifinals since Bulls-Knicks in 1991.

There’s a lot of money on the line, at the very least I think it’s fair to say that Silver is happy Wembanyama made it to the Spurs and would be happy for the Lakers to make it to the finals.
