Heres another trade that works.
Toronto receives: Simons, Sharpe, Grant and Nurkic + 3rd overall pick.
Portland Receives: Siakam, Van Vleet and Trent jr + 2nd round future pick or Koloko.
This gives Dame proven Championship level players. It provides the young rebuild Raptors are looking for. If they extend their player options that's 2 years to figure it out. If it doesn't work, they all fall off the books and that clears alot of space for free agency. Dame will be closer to out his prime.
