A relatively cheap option for the back up center position (not likely for him to ask more than $2.500.000) could be Edy Tavares. He might not be able to stretch floor as he is not know for hitting threes, but at times his scary defense would make him a more than decent option for a back up big. Despite his height, he is relatively quick and his wingspan is impressive. He was recently awarded with the Best Defender award in Euroleague as well.
