Where is the accountability. James harden had 2 good games and 5 horrible games. I dont get it dude was a shell of himself half the time. Embiid had the worst game ever game 7. This is on the stars. Harden needs to go maxey needs to take over. Its time to go get a better role player or superstar.

Still a talented player…yes.
Still a very selfish player as well.
There are highly talented players out there that add to the talent and upside of the team and could make them a much better team.
There are guys who could be on the trade market that make sense for Houston and are younger and cheaper and raise the ceiling of what they can do.
They have Ime Udoka who had Jalen Brown's trust in Boston.
You think Houston can't put a trade package together for Brown involving the 4th pick?
That they couldn't grab someone like Brook Lopez from Milwaukee?
That just upgraded the entire team and improved the defense of the Rockets while being cheaper than Harden.
You can upgrade depth and shooting in the Free Agent market easily enough.
I know that my team…the Celtics aren't going to want to trade Brown. But they also know they don't want to lose Jalen Brown next season for nothing. So I can see Houston making a play for him.
So, why overpay to bring Harden back if you can get a better team together without him and it be cheaper?
Especially when most likely, Harden is only using Houston as a leverage point to get Philadelphia to do a max contract.

The 76ers should Trade Harden and Embiid. It's time to blow this thing up and trade Harden and Embiid for first round picks and hope those picks develop into stars. Tank for a few years and maybe you'll have two top 10 picks one year because of the trade. You just need to be smart with it.
I remember seeing reports that harden’s mother had cancer and lives in Houston (and also that they had some of the world’s best cancer treatment centers) don’t know if its true but it would explain a lot.

Giving up on Fultz was a big mistake considering how long Philly waited for Embiid and Simmons. Markelle is now a more serviceable NBA player than Simmons by far.

This is why teams tank because the salary, cap restrictions and everything. Keep certain teams at the same level no matter what they try to do and I know the Sixers tanked as well, but it almost got them a championship if a couple players didn’t choke.
