Say what you want about Melo but he was easily the best part of the Knicks between the 90s and 2020. Just a shame he couldn’t get a ring in the end

AMELO. I’ll forever be grateful for the star that came home. Gave us something to root for. Let me know what it felt like to have a great player on my squad. Wish he got a ring.

On April 2, 2013, Anthony dropped 50 points on the Heat—without taking a single shot in the paint.

Anthony didn’t attempt a layup, putback or anything near the rim, and netted 18 of 26 field-goal attempts while hitting seven shots from beyond the arc that night.

One of the best pure scorers in franchise history.

Enjoy retirement, Melo. Thanks for the memories.

  7. He made me excited for Knicks basketball again. Thank you for everything StayMe7O 🙏🙏

Enjoy retirement, Melo. That Coming Home commercial gave me chills, and I’ll always give him credit for committing to making the Knicks good, even if it didn’t end up working out. That and being a phenomenal scorer to watch.

Was happy when we got him. Couldn’t wait until he was gone by 2014. He was brutal to watch after he exited his prime. I’ve never seen so many 8-25, 11-29, 9-31 games from a player.

  10. He was one of the best players of his generation. I don’t care that the trade didn’t work out; he was one of the best players in the league when he got here. I wish he could have rode the bench for us on his final season to get a farewell tour from the fans.

His MSG debut will always be a special moment for this franchise.
