I saw this on Twitter from a Cleveland sports talk show and they mocked a trade of Jarrett Allen and Dean Wade for Kleber, McGee, and Bullock. Wanted to gauge the subreddit to see what Mavs fans think of this trade.

Altman gets fired if he does this trade. Zero chance Cleveland trades him without getting multiple picks and/or a really good young player in return
No doubt we do this , makes sense for CLE because they’re over the cap , and they wanna play smaller , maxi helps that

We’d get our ideal starting center and could still draft Walker or Hendricks for that defensive wing spot. Or use in another trade.
I really think Cleveland could get more though.
Why would Cleveland even want it? This isn’t happening in any universe.
They’d have to demand our first otherwise it’s such a no brainer for the Mavs.

It makes sense for both parties , even though the Cavs would probably request draft compensation because Allen is the best player in the trade.

In that case, I liked the frame work but would want someone with more rotation potential than Dean Wade.
But if the Mavs pulled off this trade without losing primary assets, I’d be all over it. Thats why I secretly think that trade is fantastical in nature. Never going to happen.

I’ll drive them to the airport myself. If you’re Dallas you do that deal in a heartbeat.
I’d imagine Dallas would have to throw in a future 1st. But if we could keep 10, I’d be in favor of this trade, even with a future protected 1st.
