Here's the answer, ladies: Extend them BOTH while trading Randle and either RJ or Q. Grimes for O.G. Anunoby. End of story.

Obi should walk he can't secure the bag unless he plays
Neither player should get a extension before they’re rookie contracts end before next season. Toppin just hasn’t shown that he will be anything more than a decent energy player, who struggles on the defensive end. That means spot starter, career backup. IQ’s skill set is exactly what you see right now, and whereas I like the kid, I’m not giving another backup $20 mill. It doesn’t make sense. Is IQ a better player than say Chris Duarte? I’d say no he’s not. Are we going to give Q. Grimes the same contract the year after when he’s available to extend? Which player do you value more? I’d say it should be Grimes.
Quickley is gonna be traded in a package for a star this offseason, he wants to start and he isn't behind Brunson and the Knicks are gonna have to pay him soon, no way the Knicks pay him big money to be a 6th man.

I think you're being a little selfish, lol. IQ needs to go where he can start if he wants. Good for him and good for our reputation as a franchise. I want to find more time for Duece to see what he can do. If IQ wants to stay as a backup, fine. We surely will offer him a reasonable contract. We still have OBI under contract so we don't have to do anything this year, but my feeling is if we can't move Randle, what's the point. We could use OBI to move Fournier. Going to be an interesting summer!
