lately I have been toying around with creating spurs content, specifically analysis maybe mild story telling, and I am trying to find a style that will be appealing, and would love criticism. Please be as harsh as you want, I just want real opinions
My thoughts: I think I would’ve changed the arrangement of the entire graphic on a redo, it’s very long, and I think I could better communicate distance with different graphics, maybe do a second graphic with a shot chart. I also think I maybe leaned too hard on the fiesta colors.
The content within the graph is not ground breaking, but it is not meant to be, just an example.

Honestly, I think it is great. It tells a compelling story. I didn’t even need to read it to see what was going on. As for criticism, the Keldon Johnson info is not obvious. When I first saw it, I didn’t actually read anything, and while that is a poor habit by me, the ideal visual chart conveys info without needing to read it. I would make it top three players with team or even league average as the fourth line. That way you have a reference line to help say that this player is good at a certain spot.
I just noticed I didn’t include distance (in feet) at the bottom must have gotten cropped off.
