Not a Celtics fan , but one of my best basketball fan memories is being down 3-0 in a best of 7. My team lost in 7 but it was very close until the end. 94 NUGS took UTAH to 7 after being down 3-0 and it was a BLAST despite ultimately falling short.

This was the same 8 seed team who made a comeback down 2-0 to beat 1 seed Sonics in the first round.
Nuggets were 42-40 true 8 seed material.
JAZZ were in Prime Malone/Stockton/Hornacek days and something like 36-5 at home that year.
We took game 5 off of them at their court and then game 7 even though it is a 10 pt loss … The last 5-6 pts of that is end of game FTs … Was anyone’s game in 4th.
It is possible!
And as a bonus
UTAH expecting sweep or 4-1 maybe … We took them to last possible game and moment of said game & wore them out.
A well rested Rockets team beat a haggard Jazz team in next round 4-1
So Denver still fucked them in the end ( great but aging superstars)

Happy for your team tonight, man do they enjoy playing with each other. I remember that Mutombo team as a kid, him holding the ball at the end of the Sonics series.

Thank you. It is possible to overcome a 0-3 deficit, especially with the Game 7 at your home court. Celtics just have to take it one game at a time and let the thoughts of it happening start to crip into the minds of the Miami Heat.
And this after they came back against my Sonics down 2-0. Winning the last 2 in OT. Crazy.
Oh we know like another commenter said above we witnessed the 04 Sox. But the thing is unfortunately there’s a lot of doomers in this sub. Btw if the Celtics don’t make it to the Finals I’m def rooting for your Nuggets, I really enjoyed the Melo teams growing up and the squad you have now is filthy. Thanks for the cool stats.
