Finally I was routing for the Lakers to lose so we can sign D'Angelo Russell. Cause LeBron is getting Kyrie we know that so I'm a happy camper today now all we need is to Miami close the Celtics out so we can try and I'm say try and its wishful thinking. But if the Celtics Lose Blow up the whole Mid 3 including Zach and sign Jaylen Brown and I know it sounds kinda of 2K2ish but damn to a have a chance at Brown its worth it. Heโs a nice player and can run an offense and doesnโt need to be a ball hog. Not sure if he can fit with DDR, but definitely with LaVine.

My problem is he falls off of a cliff in the playoffs. Here are his stats in the playoffs for his career. 14.1 pts 4.9 assists Shooting 39%FG and 32% 3pt. That's not just that series that's his entire playoff career. My second issue is that part of our great defense was having Caruso, or and Bev being able to guard the opponent's guards. (I know we have Caruso guarding 1-4 and too many 4's at that, but we had an elite wing defender). If you have a starting line up of Russell, Lavine, Derozan, P-Will, and Vuc you've got 1 defender on the floor. we're not going to keep our good defense with this. I don't hate this entirely if we trade Derozan and bring another defender at the 3 or even start Caruso that I don't hate it as much.

It would be better to look elsewhere. Theres a reason why teams have moved off him. Even if we donโt know it personally. I donโt think we have much reason to doubt their decisions.
It would be good if the front office wanted to make a move. To make a move to shut people up from saying they did nothing at said deadline or off season.

I think is a good take, but he lacks on the defensive end, and I feel like Coby White showed everyone that he has some clutch in him if you give him a chance. In that play-in Miami game he was great. I think Coby needs to be given the chance to start if resigned. Dlo is great, but not sure about his leadership.
Out of all the possible players suggested on this channel DLo would fit the best even if hes just a bridge till we see how Zo pans out. Buying him cheap rn is key.

You know, I have a similar reaction to him as I do to Dennis Schroder, which is a hell no.
The statistics are interesting.
Player comparison between him and Coby white as interesting, they're pretty similar, given the opportunities that they've had. With a slight Edge in assists going to Russell.
The defensive and offensive win shares statistic skew strongly toward Russell as well.
But, I would chalk that up to opportunity and difference in age.
If you just look at beginning of D'Angelo Russell's career, he and Coby White are very similar.
So, as many have noted it just comes back to what are we doing with Coby White?
I feel like Coby white has more defensive hustle it in him.
Coby has clear goals for this upcoming year. And it's not outlandish the think that he can achieve a higher level in his gameplay.
D'Angelo Russell is much cloudier when it comes to his mental. It's hard to tell what this dude is going to be trying to prove. And, he's been in the league long enough to be able to say more clearly that his level is not going to raise in any part of his game, really.
If you were going to go for D'Angelo Russell, I would try just as hard to get Terry Rozier from the Hornets.

I love DLo man. Always been one of my favorite players since his OSU days. Only issue I see is why does this mean for Coby?? Coby showed a lot of promise and if we want to resign him idk if heโd be down to come off the bench. As much as I love DLo, Coby is younger, cheaper and probably a better defender than DLo. We canโt put DLo Coby and Zach out there together either, we wouldnโt be able to defend a fly lol i would like DLo for this team more if we had a better wing defender like OG out there with PWill.
