Beasley is actually really good. The problem is that he needs sets run for him, mainly curls. I think he will surprise a lot of fans if we can spend some time in training camp developing plays for him

  2. ChunkyMilkSubstance

I hope we take his option tbh. I feel like this season was a weird aberration

  3. 500_NikeStacks

He should have got some playing time in the Denver series

  4. JaNotFineInTheWest

Yeah, he is talking facts. We are the number 1 defensive team without a DPOY. If we just tweak a bit next season and keeping the core group. No one would beat the Purple and Gold on a 7 game series.

  5. Significant_Night_65

Bro thinks he’s gonna be on the team next season

  6. LeagueReddit00

Don’t get in such a hole next season and maybe LeBron and AD can rest a bit so they aren’t going into the playoffs taped together.

  7. bcombs510

I just can’t figure how he lead the league in 3 %.
Right? How is it such a steep drop off.

  8. F-150Pablo

I think he’s right. Especially since we just got most of this team with what 20 games left in season. I mean the potential is a lot!

  9. Belles_Lazer

Cue that Uncle Phil meme. “We?” lol

  10. xodus112

Rational thinking here from Malik in stark contrast to the ppl here who think a team that made a WCF run with only 3 months together needs to be blown up lol

  11. 0nnasick1

even tho he’s known to be streaky, we did not use him correctly + seems like he wants to stay bc of bron

  12. the_far_yard

Hope Rob get us a traditional Center and unleash AD at 4, and Bron at 2/3.

  13. Elitealice

He needs a training camp and plays run for him. If you think about it we was basically just running open gym and winning games and series lmao

  14. Shoeguy24

Give him another go. I wanna see him light it up from 3 next year.

  15. CabbageStockExchange

Talk yo shit. I agree. This team was slapped together three months ago and only had like 5-9 games until the playoffs to gel and got to the WCF. With a hobbled Bron no less. Keep what we have and build on it

Just not DLo need more of a consistent pg someone that can average 17 /20 points a game

  17. Wise move would be to keep his 15 mil option to at-least have an asset to trade down the road.

But unfortunately if our plan is to keep both Reaves and Rui then i could see us opting out just for the sake of saving money on a player that hardly got any run in the playoffs. 15 mil is a-lot especially once that tax starts to hit.

You ain’t even gonna be here.

  19. I would give him another chance. He had family issues going on.

  20. ArugulaPhysical

I think keep most of the guys, trade dlo for maybe someone who can shoot or even just a defensive pg

  21. Tbh both him and DLo will benefit with offseason training with Phil Handy. Phil Handy seems to be the key in helping develop players strengths. Look at Reaves and Rui who both had success with Handy training. Beas a sharpshooter just needs a bit of help to fully unlock a consistent play which Handy can probably provide

  22. SophisticamatedApe

Bro doesnt know he didnt play a single minute in the WCF series.

  23. redundantPOINT

I hope he bounces back. No reason to believe he can’t since he’s always been streaky but has usually shot better than average on good volume throughout his career.

  24. Buckowski66

The nerve of this guy throwing himself in with LBJ and AD. I think he enjoys a nice long camp elsewhere.

  25. Few_Incident4373

No lies told. This is still a new team with 3 1/2 months of experience.

  26. hojboysellin3

He’s fine for the regular season but he can’t stay on the court in playoffs

  27. This laker team would be scary with a full training camp

  28. Createyourpass1234

The only team in the league the Lakers wouldn’t have been able to beat is Denver.

They can beat every other team in the west and east out there.

  29. Imaginary_Bicycle_14

Is this with or without dlo, Malik?

  30. swankstar7383

To bad Malik won’t be here next season
