Is there any chance we can get FVV? FVV is at his best when he’s not trying to do so much. With LeBron and Reaves’ facilitating, they can take the pressure off of him and let him be the shooting guard. His natural position

Good. You couldn’t take one game off the nuggets while the top heavy suns won 2. Get Kyrie & live with the results.

  3. kasaan110

Rob had started negotiating with him on his season already. He will be back just not at that high number

If we can get Kyrie and retain Rui and Reaves then maybe go for it

Otherwise I’d say no on Kyrie. Most teams that win chips have 6 or more solid guys, can’t win with a top heavy team esp when all the guys are older

  5. Gristle__McThornbody

I feel like we have a better shot at Lillard than Kyrie.

I’d just re sign D Lo to a cheaper contract and if you really wanna move him you can at the deadline. Makes no sense to gut our entire team for Kyrie. D Lo had big games in the playoffs to get us in the WCF in the first place

I’d honestly love to get Fred VanVleet but it’s a long shot.

Also if LeBron pulled a Brady and took less money going forward, that’d be awesome. I’d be more concerned with getting another ring than an extra few million at this point in his career. This will never happen, of course.

Kyrie is a fuckin diva keep him away, the dude is literal cancer

Sign and trade dlo, try to trade for trae. Hawks are rotting, he’ll want out

We need continuity so gutting the team isn’t ideal, if we can get D’Lo on the cheap then we can always move him if necessary, I’d love to see most of the core get a training camp and see how good they can really be.

Hot take: Bring back Russ on a much lower salary with a team around him that actually has shooting.

  13. Deathstriker88

VanVleet and Lopez would add a PG and center, I don’t think a third superstar is needed.

  14. If Kyrie is happy to come here for $15m no problem

  15. kanekikochaboggy

Why are we acting like D’Angelo is a scrub? He fits perfectly with lebron and AD. Yeah he flunked out in the WCF but he had good games in the first and second round

He can make plays , shoot the 3 and has some size. If we can retain him up to 20 mil we should do it and look to move him later

  16. ddsomany

Makes sense. Lebron is almost 40. Not convinced he will be that much better after foot surgery either as his mileage/usage is historical.

  17. retro-nights

Dlo Will stay, Bron won’t play more than 60 games anyways. Rob needs a backup plan and depth.

  18. 3nglishBanana

I felt like Lebron was at his best when he was playing point guard for the team. Whenever he does that, the offense runs smoothly. It also maximizes DLo’s skills

  19. I’d rather keep Dlo if it meant they were going to get Kyrie instead. Keep that lockerroom cancer away from the team

  20. Shaved-extremes

If we sign Kyrie im done with my 45 years as a Lakers fan. The guy is a pure quitter and toxic personality. Ill wait until him and Lebron are shipped off if we sign him. LeGM better not jeopardize the depth and future young studs on this team for that guy.

  21. _thepeopleschampion

If no Kyrie or FVV I could see them signing CP3.

  22. Safe-Voice-8179

Maybe lebron is take a pay cut. Is that even allowed/possible? I know that sounds weird coming of a damn near 40 point triple double in an elimination game, but he obviously needs to play less minutes and wants to reduce his role. That’s all understandable as the dude is almost 40. But it’s tough to allow him to do those things, field a team around him that can be successful and pay him max money.

  23. totallyawesome143

I predict the Lakers get Trae Young and Lillard while keeping Reaves, and Rui.

  24. AdAggravating2473

The media is crazy, Kyrie attend Lakers game, the news = Kyrie to the Lakers

Trae attends a Lakers game = Trae goes to the Lakers

Shakira attends a Heat game = Shakira dating Jimmy

  25. em_lakers

I hope the Lakers don’t do what is best for Lebron and they do what is best for the Lakers.

  26. reddit-acct54321

Can I just say something batshit crazy?

    James Harden

  27. FloralReminder

If he wants to be secondary scorer/playmaker, he should take a pay cut. I get there is a respect premium built into his contract but it’s hard to build a roster that can compete if he wants to add a primary scorer with his contract.
