I don’t really understand why Fred is worth so much money. Is he a top PG? Or is the salary he’s asking for not even top PG numbers? Maybe it’s more middle of the road numbers

Masai and Bobby are morons if they still want to run it back. End of story.

I’d rather they don’t know and them being open to other paths than them hard headedly running it back and crossing their fingers

When the hell did the fo become this wishy-washy?

Missed playoffs 2/3 times in last 3 years. Going into luxury tax for a team that can’t even get to the playoffs consistently. One of the ugliest products on the court. How do they still not know what to do?

Since we won in 2019, it has been a steady downhill, of performance and loss of talent.
I’ll be interested when things start to turn around. The indecision is hurting us.

Anyone who has watched the last 3 years should have come to this same conclusion. Team has zero direction or identity.

Wtf are we doing?
We love middle ground or what

From the outside looking in I am getting the sense that there is not alignment between ownership and management. It seems that economic factors are becoming the primary focal point of the organizational decisions once again. Every sign is pointing towards a rebuild, but how can the organization justify the ticket prices if the team is not competitive? This feels like the Bosh years all over again.

Still evaluating lol

I was just listening to the podcast and Windhorst didn’t say that. His exact words were, “I don’t know what the Raptors are doing. It’s not clear to me yet which path they’re going to take.” I just wrote those words as I heard them in real-time.
You’re totally butchering what he said and changing the context to make it sound like he meant something different.

Run it back, believe in your team

Y’all never watched TJ Ford in a Raptors uniform and it shows.

We should shift the focus towards a rebuild around Scottie and Gary.
Sign and trade Fred, get young assets in return. Trade OG, trade Siakam. Get a developing coach and let’s redo our traditional model which is develop and build from within.
We have a very good team, but not good enough to win or contend.
lobbiest_for_oceans
just. be clear. Brian windhorst said “I don’t know what the raptors are gonna do”
he did not say or imply anything at all about our braintrust’s intentions

Truly frustrating how our FO doesn’t have a clear direction. Would be nice for a change if our FO after this terrible season came out with a clear statement and direction on where we’re going. Instead we don’t know anything and the teams with coaching openings have narrowed their candidates.

I’m all for questioning all the terrible moves recently by the FO and inability from MLSE to spend to get better. But Hoop Collective is terrible full stop.
