On the flip side, sometimes these measurements are overrated. Just look at Desmond Bane and JJ Reddick, who each had negative wingspans. Or there's the infamous time Kevin Durant could not bench press the minimum weight of 185 lbs (nor could Monta Ellis, Jamal Crawford, and a few other players who had good careers). Nikola Vucevic had one of the worst vertical leaps in combine history. And if you look at the top ten wingspan differences in combine history, there's not a single star among them! But overall, I think your point is right that guys who play at a higher level at the combine improve their draft stock. It's a whole other level of skill and physicality, so guys who stand out will likely go on to be good players.
I played against Brandon in high school and the vid you see with him playing against that team in white in the beginning is me lmao. He hit a 30 foot game winner in that game
Imagine pairing Jalen Williams and Brandon Podziemski together on the Thunder. Maybe the Thunder package the 2 second round picks to move up and take him 🤔
Not shocked about Jalen Wilson’s draft stock dropping. I had a chance to be in his presence during one of his workouts and incoming college freshman (who’s signed to Kansas) was making him look bad. Jalen simply was not going 100% at all and that won’t translate well to the nba

Jordan Walsh is a winner in the combine. He finished top 5 in almost every category and did pretty well during scrimmages.

Through the years I've realized that wingspan might be the most important predictor to tell whether your game will transfer over to the NBA
