    properly valuing the man. I love to hear this, assuming it’s true

  2. Nets not interested and want more. Seems contradictory.

  3. Idk man. I watch a lot of Blazers (west coast games in general when the kids go to bed) on league pass.
    Sharpe plus the #3 pick sounds pretty damn good to me.

    I dunno. I love Mikal and I loathe the idea of tanking, but potentially getting Scooter and Sharpe…those are two guys with very real potential of being franchise cornerstones.

    Not that we *can* tank, but I don’t think the team would be that bad if the rest of the roster is filled out in a good way.

  5. Everyone talking like Mikal was goona be a superstar in Phoenix over Booker. Mad because the Nets dont wanna indulge in their idea of just kicking the can down the road. Mikal is a star in the making and thankfully the Nets value what they have over what are unknowns. Good job. Build around this man

    Scoot, sharpe, 2 future 1’s sounds good to me. Love Mikal but if we turn him into more assets and we’ll be able to put together a legitimate package for Luka when he leaves Dallas

  7. If it’s not 1 I don’t care for it. Picks are picks. He is proven

    * 1- Shaedon Sharpe and the # 3 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft are not enough for Mikal Bridges, and none of you are going to convince me that it is.

    * 2- Anfernee Simons and the # 3 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft are not enough for Mikal Bridges, and none of you are going to convince me that it is.

    * 3- I would not trade Mikal Bridges for a package including Shaedon Sharpe + Anfernee Simons and the # 3 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft either (but it’s close).

    I would do point # 3 contingent on:

    * Portland including 1 future unprotected 1st.
    * Brooklyn sending the # 3 overall pick + Shaedon Sharpe to Houston for the Nets’ 2024, 2025 and 2026 picks back. The Rockets can keep 2027.

    The more this comes through the more I think smoke is there.

    I think it’s a mistake for trading Bridges, much rather trade exception, Thomas (or Claxton), two picks this year and maybe one future pick for Simons, and 3rd pick. (In my dreams).
