LeBron James admitted he is considering the idea of stepping away from basketball and some have thought it’s a leverage move to get the Los Angeles Lakers to make moves this offseason. Bleacher Report listed possible trade scenarios that could keep LeBron happy. One is a sign and trade that involves sending D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura and a 2029 first-round pick to the Dallas Mavericks for Kyrie Irving. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe come up with hypothetic trade scenarios for Lakers to land Kyrie.

Dlo and schroedaer is a key player of the team. they struggled during the nuggets series but they contributed during the second half of the season and they played well during the first and second round. They havent had a proper training camp, im pretty sure they can be a top team next season. they need to give this team a second chance

I’m glad to see that there are so many people against this hypothetical trade. Rui Hachimura shined throughout these playoffs. You could argue that he was the best player on the Lakers during games 1-3 of the Western Conference Finals. This current LA group has the ability to compete for a championship. Do not trade for Kyrie, as good he is, I just don’t think he’s worth it nor do I believe it will put the Lakers ahead of their current roster.
