Is all the noise about the Pacers wanting to move up to select Miller just misinformation? Can’t see the organization wanting to risk bringing in a guy with the character/background questions he has, especially if can’t interview well. Is his talent worth the risk (honest question)? I’m ready for the Pacers to take a swing, but I’m not sure this dude is it.

The article you’re referencing was a hit piece. The reason he was out of shape was because he had mono. It’s not because he’s lazy as the article implied.
No one knows if we’re interested in trading for Miller. Pritchard made comments about not wanting to add five rookies to the roster (we literally don’t have room) and there are rumors about us wanting to make a trade circulating around the league (obviously for the reason I mentioned above).
Because we interviewed Miller, people with no actual idea what we want to do are assuming the trade we are going to make is for Miller. But they have no idea, just like no one has had any idea what moves our FO are trying to make for as long as KP has been here.
Miller reminds me of Josh Jackson in the 2016 or 2017 draft. Lengthy, slim, athletic player that can take over a game and push the pace, but the downfall is shooting. Although, Jackson did shoot well inside the arch in college, maybe his slim frame held him back? We saw miller in the tournament shoot horribly. College stats:
Jackson (35games): 16.3 ppg, 7.4rpg, 3 apg on 55/38/55 (2P%,3%,FT%)
Miller (37 games): 18.8, 8.2, 2.1 on 48/38/86

I just can’t get myself on board with giving up a ton to go get him, I don’t think his personality and maturity match this group we have right now. I feel like he’s more Cam Reddish than Paul George but to be fair so are most NBA wings
Yes, it’s that time of the year. In the weeks leading up to the draft, there will be a ton of rumors. Most of them will be fake. The Miller rumors are fake but I don’t think the Pacers are the ones spreading it. They’re pretty tight-lipped. It’s probably people combining things into one rumor. Pacers interviewed him IIRC, and we’re looking to trade a few picks. So suddenly it becomes trading up for Miller. In reality, no one but KP has any idea what we’re going to do. And I don’t think we’d trade up for Miller. There are plenty of good forwards at 7.
I don’t care. Take him anyways
