Honestly I think it’s one of the better big man fits for us, he’s on my list of dream big man targets, with markannen, Mobley and JJJ

I do not hate this.

That man needs a bit of help to get his career on track. Luckily I know a place with a history of that
Ok_Pomegranate1820
Everything we’ve seen and heard so far indicates Chet is the future center for this team and KP is too slow and immobile to play the 4 at this point. Also can’t see him coming to OKC to play off the bench. It’s a pretty hard no from me.

I’d be down

I’ve always thought kristaps was a freak, I’d love to have him on the thunder
Individual-Nerve924
He’s a little too rapey for my liking

1 year, 36 million? I’m cool with that but it doesn’t do anything for us in the long run.

Forget triple threat. We’re about to run triple Chet. Imagine the lankiness of three 7 foot long bois on the court at once

I’d love this

Honestly… sure. A bit worried about the health, but I like it. Worst case scenario, it’s a big contract that we can attach picks to.

For the right price, absolutely
He played pretty well for Washington

I think he’d be a great fit but his injury history scares me
Calm-Cry4253
Actually seems feasible. Presti was known to be a KP fan from the 2014 draft. And he would be an awesome fit on this iteration.

Gallo was injury prone until we traded for him and then became injury prone again after he left us. I’m down to risk it
If KP doesn’t cost a ton of assets and can resign to a team-friendly contract, he would be a good fit on the court

Who is Tingus Pingus? I’ve never heard of Lativia
Ramjambambam
1 year rental at 36mm means you can’t really give up much to get him, if he opts out I can’t imagine we are his highest offer but I have absolutely no idea what his value is. I think this is insanely unlikely, but a fun idea.

Pass, I’d rather develop our young guys.

I am definitely cool with it. KPs problem is he’ll never be a goto guy or a 1 on a championship team and honestly probably not even a 2 on a championship team. For us tho he definitely could be a 2 on a championship team since we in theory should have a lot of depth and we have our 1 already so in theory he could be a great fit for us
SandyMandy17
In a vacuum sure
Using finite resources and space on him? Nah
DrBigChicken
I can see the fit. Injury history is a risk, and imo I see him getting a long term deal from the wizards so okc would have to outprice that
It would be fun for him and Chet to be a backcourt with whichever wing you wanna call a 3 out of Dort and Jalen
krusty-krab69
Hes coming off his best year in the pros and also played 65 games. That’s damn good considering his past issues. 23 ppg on 50 percent shooting as a stretch big is good. Not an elite defender but also not a liability. With him on the roster and hes healthy and chet is worth the hype theres no reason why the thunder couldn’t win 50 games
Bostino
Ehhh, it depends on how much you’d have to sacrifice
KirboTobain
Would be a great signing imo. Shows we’re trying to be more of a contender, and could teach poku and/or Chet a lot. He beefed up a lot since being drafted just like they need to. He’s a good player, but injury prone historically. But imo no harm no foul if he does mentor the guys cuz that’s the more important part
Strikerfromthemoon
i really like kp. kinda sad about his career he was looking like he was gonna be a superstar early on but injuries seemed to derail him hard. He’s still a damn good player and i see no reason when i watch him that he can’t be that all star he was in like his 2nd and 3rd year. only scary part is the injury history with him.
HopleyCrue
Not gonna lie.. I like playing with him on 2k. I’d support this 💪🏾
Shagrrotten
His 65 games played this season was his most since 2017. If he can stay healthy, I think it’s a good fit, but I don’t believe that he will stay healthy enough to be worth it. If Sam made that move, I wouldn’t protest, but if I’m Sam I don’t make that move.

Buyers again? When have we ever been buyers in free agency lol
ShitJustTooIconic
A SGA/Dort/Poku/Chet/KP lineup would be crazy 😂 I would tune in every time just to see teams struggle to get open against a lineup of that size. And don’t get it twisted either they ALL shooters so SGA would have a field day kicking the ball out on offense
