For some reason, what’s obvious to the rest of the league, escapes this FO and it’s followers.

Masai is gonna bring in this new coach and then act shocked when a team that starts three players who can’t shoot is struggling.
Even if the FO likes to keep things secret, they still need to show we have leadership and a clear direction.
This whole keeping options open and trying to compete and develop guys, and actually achieving none of the above while managing minimal communications to the fan base is not a good look.

I think the direction is pretty clear… We want to win and compete because that is what sports is about, and we want to focus on internal growth, and winning, and give this core a platform to succeed and win, and be flexible to retool and keep winning, and acquire assets and top level talent through picks and trades and free agency because that’s what it takes to win, and also maintain continuity with the roster so we keep winning, and tank and play in FOR WHAT? Except when it’s convenient.

As much as I’m eager to hear what we’re doing, I get the delay. There was already a lot of uncertainty going into this off-season, and the Nurse firing only created more. There’s a lot of moving pieces, and a lot of them (although of the front offices’ creation) are beyond their control… two major option year likely free agents… two stars eligible for contract extensions… a lot of potential trade partners, most of whom aren’t going to make their own decisions until draft night… you’ve got easily a dozen of deeply interconnected major decisions.
Traded next seasons pick for a center so we could be 100% sure we have no idea what we are doing 👍👍👍
Honestly its for the best, to take it slow. There is an abundance of excellent candidates. Take the time and do it right.
