  1. When are the Lakers going to put the needs of the franchise ahead of Lebron's legacy? The national media is just as guilty as Lebron because instead of giving Denver the headlines after they swept the Lakers they were more than willing to run with Lebron's possible retirement . Now all we hear and are stories about his legacy or what the Lakers have to sacrifice to make mr. ego happy.

  2. Keep whoever they can and add a couple pieces. At that point, you have Bron, AD, DLO (if he takes a team friendly deal) Rui, Vanderbilt, Beasley, Shroder, Reeves, Troy Brown Jr, Lonnie. Get rid of Christie, Wenyen and Thompson. Replace them with Oubre , Seth Curry, Poeltl/ or Plumlee. Idk if that works cap wise but that would be a great championship roster. This team needs to be consistently great from 3 for Lebron to continue to be effective long-term at this age and this team would win a couple chips if kept together for awhile.

  3. Mike hates Kyrie Irving, he don’t want him on the lakers 😂😂😂

  4. Lebron is only relevant because just about everyone in the media, yes you are guilty, make him relevant. Who effin cares about an old as dirt player who could barely make a run away free dunk? Please let the dead horse die in peace. No one in the West will be able to beat the Denver Nuggets in the next couple years they way they are constructed, and as long as they have the Joker and Jamal Murray. Talk about them. They just gave Lebron the second sweep of his career, which puts a nail in the coffin of the Goat debate. That is the real story. Not some sad career of a so called GOAT who never achieved his full potential.

  5. Truth be told
Kyrie would work hypothetically but not REALISTICALLY .
Like fr Kyrie would help immensely but like long term standpoint it would be a one trick pony

  6. Lets build around AD and AR15. D-LO should stay and Lebron shoud stop making things about himself. YOU'RE 38!!!! Its OK to lose damn it.

  7. Lakers were decent defensive minded rebounding big away from WINNING that series 4-0. Bring his rebounds and points down by at least 5 each a game and they would have been fine. Kinda like what Dwight did to Jokic in 2020…

  8. I just want to know why y’all insist on keeping D’Lo, it’s the same shit with James Harden, WE. KNOW. WHO. HE. IS.

  9. Dude I don’t understand how you can say lebron is ruining the Lakers when he literally came to the team after not making the playoffs in 10 years and won a championship in year 2 and if wasn’t for injuries it could be more. The lakers drafted like absolute dog shit and people are acting like draft picks actually matter. They mean nothing if you can’t capitalize with them.

Edit: Austin Reaves and Rui are young players and they’re only going to keep getting better. If the lakers can get rid of Dlo and get better shooting this team can indeed win it all if healthy.

  10. I would much rather the Lakers go after Dejontae Murray than a shorter version of D'Angelo Russell! NO Trae Young….no Kyrie either.

  11. Trade Lebron. He will not be better next year. In all honesty he handcuffs any team he is on. LeBron often drains time out of the shotclock without actually finding a better shot. It is too much watching Lebron. He choked at the end of most games in the Denver series. Over his career he would usually find the open guy for best shot at the end of games but I think he wants to prove he can close consistantly, which he can't. At the end of game 4 Davis was wide open for a good shot, LeBron drove into traffic and turned it over. Lets not forget about his many turnovers late in games. This was a recurring theme over that whole series down the stretch of games. AD takes a back seat whenever Lebron is on the floor. He respects Lebron too much. AD is in his prime, not Lebron. AD needs to be option one on that team. He needs to tell Lebron to be the second option. If Lebron won't accept being option 2 and sometimes 3 ( because Reaves will likely take another step next year), then trade Lebron, even for a lesser player. Remove the LeBron shackles from the Lakers. Trade him for Mikal Bridges straight up. Or maybe Dinwiddie and Cam Thomas. Maybe they could work a deal trading Lebron for one of Clevelands starting gaurds.

  12. Flight Mike, Lebron's days as a dominant player are over. He plays not defense now and he won't go to the bucket late in games because he doesn't trust himself at the free-throw line. Now, don't get me wrong, Lebron is still capable of having a dominant game here or there, but he can't do it consistently. I don't care if he averages 30 minutes a game during the next regular season; he can't be dominate for 7 consecutive games in playoffs anymore. Understand you have great depth now with a young core that you can build around and bring in a star player here or there because the Lakers can always draw stars. Rob Pelinka has to understand the days of winning a championship with Lebron as your best player are over; plus AD just doesn't have what it takes to be the #1 guy so you need to go find that person and build your roster while looking.

  13. take a shot every time mike said "im grateful" after the lakers getting swept 🥴

  14. Lebron needs to just drop this whole LA thing and go back to Cleveland. The ONLY thing they’re missing is Him. THAT IS ALL. Lebron goes to Cleveland they will 10000000% win a Championship literally the year he arrives.

  15. I dont like Kyrie. But im sure dude goes online and thats all he sees. He goes out and thats all people say about him. In highly doubtful he was on live specifically to say that. He was probably on there living his life and every other comment was about his FA. He probably just got sick of it and asked to stop. Im a celtic fan, i hate the guy more than anyone. But i feel like your bias toward the lakers is causing you to jump to conclusions on his character. This isnt news bro. It just isnt.

  16. LeBron cant sit still, hes always looking for player movements. Even after a championship he had them gut the team.

  17. I'd let LeBron walk honestly. As great as he is, his hubris might be making him toxic at this stage in his career. Better to build around a young core.

  18. The king of getting coaches fired and the crybaby that demands to be followed wherever teams he jumps into. Truly a disgusting and pathetic crybaby to be in a team. He is your king you bandwagon bronsexuals.

  19. Yea Lakers got a solid team. Just get to work in the off season and I can see them going all the way. No need to gut the team and roll the dice for something new.

  20. He could "retire" and take a year to rehab and come back to play with Bronny for a year. That's what it sounds like to me.

  21. As a dubz fan dis ain safe for bron especially if he wan a see better dayz w bronny closer n closer n closer frm bronny bein ina nba😭💯

  22. Build a contender ? Lebron literally had a team that did better than expected run it back

  23. Retire for a season or 2, then come back to play with his boys. I think how Brady "retired" with the patriots then came back to win with the bucs.

  24. Kyrie was basically saying STOP ASSUMING I'M GOING TO THE LAKERS JUST TO BENEFIT LEBRON , he has been saying that he is his own man. Why would he help him again? Once the reporter asked Kyrie if he saw LeBron as a "Father Figure" ??? I think that was it. He will never play with him again after that. He looked like he wanted to STRIKE that female reporter for saying that.

  25. I think being open to trading Reeves for 2 or 3 solid starter/role players would be an interesting option.

I think he plays well with lebron but hell even Matthew dellevedova went off with the king on his side.

Trade while his value is potentially sky high

  26. He isn't retiring – it's all for leverage because this is how he wants to end his career? A 4 game sweep? Ok. sure.
