Pretty simple. Celtics have gotten the same quality of 3s in their wins and losses. In the wins they’ve gone in, and in the losses they haven’t.

Heat scored 111, 123, and 128 in their wins. 99 and 97 in their losses. That is the difference.

Imagine this being your job and that’s the analysis you provide. And it’s wrong. Embarrassing.

Yeah I don’t buy it one bit. The heat were generating much better 3s the first 3 games. The defense is why we comfortably won games 4 and 5, not the 3s.

  4. Also that the Heat supporting cast has been shooting significantly better than their season average – Caleb Martin shot 70% from 3 in one game alone.

Pretty simple. First three games we didn’t play defense. Last two we looked like champions on the defensive end. Defense gives way to offense

Does the media actually watch the games?

Well, here’s one example of a Friday afternoon tweet starting a holiday weekend. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s “If they win Game 6, there will be a Game 7.”

I thought we got good looks in the first two games and they didn’t fall. The biggest difference in my opinion was the defensive intensity which we should be able to bring regardless of our shooting

I don’t think so, the look we got at last 2 games were much better than the first 3 games

If 3s are not falling the Cs stops defending.

i mean, on the one hand i don’t disagree with that statement. on the other hand i feel like there’s something you’re ignoring

…y’know, the approximately 50% of the game time where we *don’t* have the ball

You live by the 3, you die by the 3. A tale as old as time for an NBA fan.

For all the tech we have, we really do not understand the 3 point shot yet. Saying they’re the same quality is saying more about the lack of precise data as anything.

Living & dying by the 3 ball.

They’re trying to play Warrior ball, but the Warriors have Stephen Curry.
