The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat in Game 5, 110-97. Jayson Tatum recorded 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Celtics, while Derrick White (24 points, career-high 6 3PM) and Marcus Smart (23 points, 5 steals) added a combined 47 points in the victory. Jimmy Butler tallied 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Heat. The Heat lead this best-of-seven series, 3-2, with Game 6 taking place on Saturday, May 27 (8:30 p.m. ET, TNT).

    The celtics were a hivemind, they surrounded that 3 point line so crazy, right deadly passes and dips into center to get a pass back to the 3, shit was wild watching

    It’s called entertainment Miami purposely lost those two games called ratings people they need people to watch ratings. How the hell does Jimmy Butler out play everybody the first three games and now he can’t make a basket. Let’s think about these people it’s called ratings. Very good NBA very good.

    The difference between all the other teams down 3-0 and the current Celtics team is that for the most part the other teams were playing out of their minds to win 2 games to a far superior team, who took their foot off the petal.
    This year's Celtics are arguably the best team to ever be down 3-0.

    This game would have made the Harlem Globetrotters proud , no call and no defense. When did BAM become a point guard and controller for the offense. This wasn’t a competition game this was clearly scripted for entertainment.

    Have been watching the future #1 draft pick of 2023-24 season projection to be for at least two months or at least the playoffs has started and I think truthfully that the only way to play the consecutive and competitive play against him is to treat him as if your were C. Paul, M. Smart or P. Beverly does to all bigs or the “best player” against them and their team plays. As soon as they are open down low, they are already in the air to protect the rim first, knowing two things. One is that they protected the rim from a rim dominator before they even think about it. Therefore they have two options. Go up with it and try that 89% contest without knowing they can finish because they all have been proven wrong on there “quick” reactions, to they getting either a block or steal. Great defense by all of them. More included but haven’t mentioned. GP3. But they make them have to go up against the same person that they are against in the first place. They are playing help side to protect and if they get him to fake and then react then they did their job. They helped the team. So for everyone that is seeing him next year know that if you are guarding him that you know you have help but know that you still have to contest your-self. NBA players needs to remember what really had you continue to pursue this sport to the fullest. Acknowledging that the team, the players, and the preparations that you have did for each game is not just for yourself but knowing that the players that are on the court with you makes you “YOU”. Period. A team is only a team together knowing that “me” hast to be in there but acknowledging that even in the word me, when you put team to it, it changes everything of “ME”. Just look at the words and tell me in my statement I am wrong. ME-TEAM

    Tatum established a statement in that first 4 minutes of the game. That energy staying consistent would be incredible

    I’m a HUGE, lifelong C’s fan
 but I think it’s insane that ppl are actually picking them to win the series after being down 3-0. Yes, they’ve played excellent the last two games. But it also only takes one bad quarter of shooting for them to pack it in and give up on defense. I think Miami is going to come out in game 6 with their hair on fire. I hope Boston wins somehow
 but this team has been too ho and down this year for me to get my hopes up

    Ya know, i think jason Tatum's true calling is being a magician, cause hes the only star who seems to be able to get just avout wveryone back pn board with him, aftee only 1 or 2 games that are up to the caliber he supposed to be held at. I really like the celtics(their fanbase aside) but how does he do it lol l. I mean it feels like he has made his career out of almost doing it.
