I saw something on TV yesterday morning asking which is the better story, the Celtics with the 0-3 comeback or an 8 seed making the finals? Um well an 8 seed has already made the finals once before back in ’99 but coming back from 0-3 has never happened. Interesting how the NBA will see it.

If they play the way they played in the last 2 games and the Heat still win, I don’t think I’ll be too upset. If they just roll over and the Heat steamroll I’m going to have a long long summer.
So a new thing I’ve been seeing today is that if the Celtics win tonight, it would be “so Celtics” to claw back to a game 7 at home and lose it, and it would be “so Heat” to stumble into a game 7 on the road and win it.
I just want to point out that only one of these two teams have won on the road to force a game 7 and then choked it away at home. That was the Heat. Last year. To the Celtics.

The Celtics need to come out with a lot of energy and intensity. My biggest worry is they come out flat and before we know the Heat have a 10-12 point lead by the end of the 1st. They should absolutely expect the Heat to come out punching, they shouldn’t be caught surprised by it (and we have seen them so many times be caught out by the other teams intensity).
Spo is a great coach but he looks more desperate than Joe. Our boys smell blood and he knows. C’s in 7!

This feels like it’s gonna be a 50/50 game in crunch time. Celtics need to prove they can win that kind of game when it’s all on the line.
You can say, what about Philly game 6? Ya…we all saw that. That was more about Philly choking big time and then Tatum finally hit some shots. There were several moments where Philly could’ve and should’ve won that game. They left the door open and celts walked through it.
