The Portland trail Blazers were given a gift when they landed the third overall pick. Right now it feels as if they’ll trade the pick to try and contend around star Damian Lillard. Some potential targets could be Pascal Siakam, Mikal Bridges, Jaylen Brown or Karl-Anthony Towns. OR they could keep the pick and take one of Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller, which I would recommend. They have two all-star upside guys already in Anfernee Simons and Shaedon Sharpe and the pick would make three. They could also add more all-star upside/talent in a Damian Lillard trade, which I would argue is well overdue. To me, you rebuild the right way and keep the pick and add to a secretly very impressive young core, and grow for the future. It’s nearly impossible to go from missing the play-in to title contenders, and trading the pick for that may just be a pipedream, but it’s no easy call. Let me know your thoughts!!!

They could trade it in a three teamer where they get Zach Lavine, Keldon Johnson, and 3 first(spurs) for Jerimi Grant, and Jursif Nurkic, the Spurs get the third, the Bulls get Grant, Nurk, and 1or2 first(spurs). This only works if the third is scoot. The downside is the defense but they could more be Mattis to the 4 and then trade a first or something for a defensive Center
Pick 3+ sharpe or pick 3 + ant is way to much for mikal. If making that trade blazer will add 1 more mid sized asset and get claxton as well…. And no trade outside of embiid and Giannis are worth both sharpe ant and 3
This is all besides the point though; I think the best trade that includes bridges to Portland is as follows: Houston gets pick 3 (if scoot); pick 4 and 2 future BKL picks of choice (owned by Houston) back to BKL as well as Nurk to match contracts with bridges. Then bridges to portland.
This trade allows Brooklyn to draft Amen this season and allows Brooklyn to tank properly for their own picks.
Blazers get their start sf and still have ant or sharpe with future firsts to make 1 more move for a starting big man. Your suggested trade for bridges gives up 3 of our top 4 non Dame assets.
