Yeah Phil and Tex were vital to the championships but the Bulls including Scottie and Horace had to toughen up to get past the Pistons and MJ stepped up as a leader and did just that so at the end of the day its about winning and not a popularity contest…alot of the former teammates complaining on MJ still gave him his credit as a leader he prepared them for battle and the end result was championships
