That's a good point, Rich, about being careful with Victor and only playing him about 62 games. It sounds very much like what Pop would do. And yes, Victor is not a 22-year old with 4 years of college under his belt. But two years in the Euro (or French) League, playing against grown-a$$ men, counts for something. And the Spurs without Victor will be MUCH better next year because they will have one year of playing together under their belts and, hopefully, they will be healthier. I'm still gonna predict a .500-or-better season. I just don't think guys like Devin, Jeremy, Keldon, Trey, and Malaki are going to settle for another losing season.
I think Victor will be a 20+ win turn around. And these guys this past year were dumbed down, err tanked down. Their gonna be unleashed . Those 20+ alone put them in playoff contention.
If he doesn't have an injury that sits him an extended amount of time, he will play EXACTLY 65 games, the minimum you can play under the new rules and still be eligible for season awards like Rookie of the Year.
Here's what I don't think you're considering Rich. The Spurs have no reason to hold the young guys back like they did last year. To me, realistically, this team was at least a 30-to-35-win team if they hadn't been held back. Victor would only need to help win about 15 to 20 more games. That would put him in the ballpark. Besides they need to see what chemistry they have with the players playing full out. Thats why I feel that the Spurs need to feel out their current players and not be quick to send anyone off. Trade up if you can for a second first round pick but be frugal with their players.
I think the spurs has one best medical health organization in history in the NBA Victor Wembeyama he is in good hands Look what they did to Zach Collins They manage his injuries very well they have faith in him knowing that it wasn't going to play his first season with the spurs now Zach is doing tremendus.
We already had David Robinson when Tim Duncan came in hence the instant spike in wins. We are still laying the building blocks now even with Wemby joining. Unless we make moves in the market and sign a legit PG, I would rather have the Spurs still be a lottery team next year – not as worse – but 5 – 10 lottery is a decent place to land next season. .

Work on that 2nd round pick 33. Who are the possibilities? I like Andre Jackson out of UCONN.
Too much hype. Duncan spent 4 years in college I'm not expecting a huge jump in his first year. Hope I'm wrong
Haha my man π€£

This guy is HORNY ABOUT WEMBENYAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could argue, David was run into the ground – and as a result we got Tim Duncan. Both of those guys wanted to play 48 minutes though.
Around 32-35 we will quality for the play ins
500 team ! We make to the play In

The pattern is clear.
+37 wins.
59-23 record.
I feel like Wembanyama might insist on playing at least 65 games to secure eligibility for rookie of the year award

Depending if they make any moves from today until trade deadline i think they'll win anywhere between 10 to 25 more games than the season before
I think the spurs has one best medical health organization in history in the NBA Victor Wembeyama he is in good hands
Look what they did to Zach Collins
They manage his injuries very well they have faith in him knowing that it wasn't going to play his first season with the spurs now Zach is doing tremendus.
I hope we continue tanking. We need another young prospect to secure our future.

Im 'sure the spurs will groom him well and not make him go full throttle his first year
Please talk about the Derrick White series saving tip in
unless his health is in question I'm sure he'll play 65 games. I doubt they would rob him of rookie of the year
Not only playoffs top6
