then they can lose him for nothing lmao

edit: downvote me all you want, dallas still missed the playoffs, me being -30 wont change the fact that dallas missed the playoffs lmao..

  2. diaper_viper_98

Still amazing to me that they’re actually going to sign him to a real contract with the full intention of keeping him for themselves

  3. OsmosisJonesFanClub

If the Lakers actually continue to pursue Kyrie I’m gonna go crazy bro

It’s over. Just give it up. It’s a pipe dream.

  4. Ordinary-Fish-9791

Even if Kyrie can be a cancer personality wise you still take his talent and playoff play over D’ Lo in the playoffs.

  5. All this out the door when shams drops the kyrie to the lakers on the TMLE

  6. mMounirM

they’ll just trade their 10th pick and try and make shit happen with that. I do not foresee major changes

  7. Dlo Luka backcourt will get torched on defense

  8. FERFreak731

Team doesn’t want to pay Russell over 30 million, such breaking news

  9. Hopefully non laker fans don’t think laker fans are actually pushing for this.

If any their is a small minority. Majority are for keeping our team intact and not having to deal with kyrie drama and how his s&t will cripple our team from making additional improvements.

Good for dallas for wanting to max out kyrie. But they are the ones on the pressure seat. Their was nothing good that came out of trading for kyrie on their end and now they are forced to max him out.

why would any team at this point give Kyrie more than 1 yr contract?

dude is ticking time bomb ready to go off

  11. Gristle__McThornbody

    Thanks. Saving us from ourselves.

  12. The funny thing is Mavs always just wants the pretty face without blinking an eye. I won’t be surprised if they’ll be forced to do it whether they like it or not.

Kristaps Porzingis? European white guy unicorn? He is destined to pair with Luka. Let’s get him

Christian Wood? 18-10 guy. This guy must be good. Let’s get him

Kyrie Irving? A championship guy who can put up 40s. Played with ball dominant guys. He should be good. Let’s get him

Meanwhile they were cheap on Jalen Brunson who did real hard work. Gave up DFS who was their best defender and another homegrown talent.

  13. I’m glad they announced this so we don’t give D’lo a bag.

  14. MrAppleSpoink

Lemme guess, the narrative will begin that Lakers fans are delusional?

Go to our sub, FUCKING NOBODY THOUGHT THIS COULD HAPPEN.

  15. indreams159

Translation: Kyrie wants out of Dallas and yet Cuban is somehow shocked and unprepared by this so he’s panicking

  16. megasean

The Lakers don’t want Kyrie but have to pretend to pursue him to placate Lebron. The Mavs and Lakers won’t be able to find a deal that makes sense. If then, Lebron wants out, then he looks unreasonable and the Lakers are off the hook and the Kobe-Stan’s were right all along about whatever.

  17. trevortins

Lakers and Mavs will both pursue him and whoever gets him loses

  18. ApatheticJellyfish

I feel like the Lakers are in a tough spot. D’Angelo Russell kind of disappeared in that Nuggets series and became almost unplayable. However, the PG market is top heavy. If you don’t go after Kyrie or VanVleet, then what middle of the pack PG would you go after to plug in hoping works?

  19. Biggordie

I don’t understand why Mavs wouldn’t trade Irving for Russell. They might as well add Luka to that deal for Pippen Jr or Tristan Thompson

  20. cough_landing_on_you

How often does two UFA sign and trade happens.

  21. Mavs fan here. But hell nah. Eff helping the Lakers/Lebron get what they want every single damn year, lopsided trade after lopsided trade. Would prefer they resign and keep Kyrie or s/t him to some other team for assets. But nah, eff the Lakers.

  22. Millionaire007

In other news; water makes things wet

  23. Left_Resident_7007

Damn first the Jazz now the Mavericks are helping the Lakers too.

  24. GalactusAteMyPlanet

Regardless of what the Mavs do, the outlook of them retaining Luka seems pretty slim.

  25. darthrevan22

Yeah who exactly are the Lakers going to offer that the Mavs will have any interest in whatsoever lmao

  26. What a coincidence, I have no interest in that either.

  27. everydayisstorytime

I would fucking look at getting FVV via an S&T, not Kyrie. And seeing if the Nets will want to deal with us.

Also if the Heat’s G League team has any promising seven footers.

  28. EnoughLawfulness3163

DLo is the Ayton of guards prove me wrong

  29. mapletree23

    DLO sucks ass

Dude is a giant fat L in the playoffs, know way you’d put him next to doncic

  30. Isn’t Kyrie an UFA? I don’t quite understand why some of these recent articles make it seem as if the Mavs have all the leverage when it comes to signing Kyrie. Can someone point out what I’m missing?

  31. The_Assassin_Gower

Report: lakers yet again have delusional expectations about receiving lots of value in return for not much value.

    Join the club Dallas.

  32. Sam101294

Pursuit of that third start is what got us into that damn mess. Why would we want to do that again? Especially with the new CBA…we have to prioritise depth…the era of 3 max guys is over

  33. nu1stunna

Mark Cuban would never do anything that could be perceived as helping the Lakers. He hates us. But then again, sending Kyrie to the Lakers could also be a “fuck you’. I’m sure he’s torn lol

  34. skywkr666

That’s cute. You knew Kyrie was gonna fuck you the moment you traded for him, don’t pretend like you hold much in the way of leverage against that crazy bastard.

  35. dallassportsallday

Lmao why the fuck would the mavs want Russell?

  36. souttous

At a certain point it doesn’t matter if they have interest or not
