  1. What do you guys think? Does he stay or does he go? And if he does walk should Dunleavy take over or should someone else?

Can be fun being a gm when you can’t build a roster you want since we have no cap space left. šŸ˜‚

  3. scott_jr

Hope he stays. He’s done a lot for the Dubs so I’ll support whatever decision he decides to take.

  4. ImTheBestNerd

Does he have a source or is he just guessing lol

  5. vessva11

Can’t force someone to stay. If he wants to leave, he should.

  6. I think he is probably gone. Either take a year off or take the newly vacant GM position on the clippers.

    Something outta ā€œThe Sixth Senseā€ā€¦.

The new CBA is gonna make it impossible to build a winner. The amount of cutting or trading this is going to take is gold make casual fans think he is making the wrong decisions even though they are right. The era of 3 superstars on supermax to max contracts is gone. Teams above second tier which is about 190M can’t do anything – no MLE, no taking back sals, etc. Steph and Klay make $100 together. Keeping good players you drafted is going to be impossible. There is no reward for teams who draft well and build roster the right way. Tldr- more headwinds.

I think they should wrap it up quick for the sake of the team so whoever will be GM can start plotting & getting the dubs in order

  10. The fact that he hasn’t signed a contract with the Warriors yet is not a good sign. It’s not looking great.

I’ve seen so much reporting on this now, I wish he and the Warriors would figure it out (or not) already.

Just like Steph after the 2022 season, he’s achieved (almost) everything a good GM can do. There’s nothing more to prove.

“Spending more time with family” is just a PR talk of “I want out” without being too aggressive with words. Whether it was burn out from being a GM or he wants something new, we’ll never know (now).

I wonder if Bob would consider a part time consulting role if it was offered to him, kind of like the Jerry West position – theoretically less stressful*, more personal time, still involved with the team.

(*obviously i’m speaking from an outsider’s perspective)

Good. Make sure hes gone before he can draft another bust with the 19th pick. So tired of this overrated bum that hasnt done jack shit since 2017. Its time for a new voice in the FO. Hopefully one thats competent and whos willing to revamp their scouting department and not just be a “yes man” for Lacob and his idiotic ideas.
