The only move the Knicks need to make is Randle.

Trading Obi Toppin to get a late round pick is the most obvious move that needs to be made to try and draft a wing like Brandon Podziemski, Leonard Miller, or Maxwell Lewis.. We absolutely cannot go another draft without a pick and we need players on rookie scale deals.
Riddle me this. How come during the playoffs genius coach Tibbs decides the play Randall and Obi toppin together whereas all season long 80% of the fans wanted him to do that and he would not. So come playoff time they were unprepared to play together where they could have learned during the season
I am watching MSG right now they just put on a commercial showing Randall And discussing Mental Health month. Maybe they're trying to tell us something that we already know
If Knicks go after KP, Randle is gone. You keep Obi as insurance and keep developing him. This is both a good business and basketball move. BTW, Thibs rotation is 9.
I think our #1 goal this year should be acquiring a superstar. The field seems ripe for it, with multiple teams underperforming this year from Wolves to Maps from Bucks to Sixers. If, we can include Fournier and Obi in that package, we should. Unless we trade Randle and acquire a guard, we probably shouldn't commit a lot of money to Obi, so trading him makes sense in such a scenario. if we don't make a trade this year, we start losing our draft capital, so this IS the window to do it.
The problem I always have with your analysis is that you’re so focused on names and other team’s players. The Knicks are good. They don’t need much. What they need is to make the players fit better. Compare this team to all the other teams in the league and fast forward 5 years, who’s better if we keep all our guys? My bet it’s not many teams. Maybe OKC, CLE, & MEM at best.
Team is going nowhere with Randle. Bad playoffs and off ball player. Enjoy the second round exits.

I wish Fournier got to play in the playoffs. And Gavin I was thinking that myself. If Fournier Play for spoelstra his trade value would be maximized.

Didn't bother listening to this whole video, as it's clear the one player that the Knicks need to move won't be mentioned and that's Randle. Spare me the stat line talk as he's shown in two playoff runs with the Knicks, he just can't cut it. Any loss in stats will be made up by Obi and Grimes who will get more touches.
Trade Randle and give Obi the keys. Yes, he can be a turnstile on defense…but he's good for 18/8 as a starter. More importantly, our team culture and positivity gets so much better minus Randle.
We trading Obi and keeping the guy who keeps failing every time he gets to the playoffs. Randle had a historically bad playoffs run but we won’t move on from him. Dumb
