Between him and Jordi Fernandez, I like the choice of candidates we have. Personally I’m leaning towards a clean slate rather than an internal hire, but Scaricolo is a very accomplished coach with international pedigree. Wouldn’t mind him at all

The thing with Sergio, is that he’s 62/63. I’m not sure how long he will be coaching. I think going young and new may be risky, but it can pay off if they’re a good coach that can stay for a long time.

If Scariolo is the head coach I think that pretty much guarantees we aren’t rebuilding/retooling at all. You don’t bring over a 60 year old coach to take intentional steps back. For that reason I hope he doesn’t get the job.

When Sergio was with us he always seemed to be one of the first coaches up engaging with our players during time outs. I like that, specifically compared to Nurse’s coaches huddle while the players congregate for the proper huddle. Just shows Sergio is a player first type of coach which I think we need.
Scaricolo.. my biggest question would be who would be his assistants?

Not thrilled about this. Would have much rather offered Adrian Griffin the job if we were looking for an internal hire. I thought the whole point is to get someone with a fresh perspective and maybe shake up the status quo a little bit especially with the players.
