I would trade Randle for the 3rd pick in a heartbeat even it means we are taking a step back in the short term.
JRs emotional unpredictability makes it impossible to build a championship team around him. Make any deal that gives us commensurate.
it's extremely unrealistic to think that the blazers can't get more than julius randle, one of the all-time worst postseason performers in the history of the sport, for the #3 pick that could easily lock a more serviceable, better fitting, lower cost player.

There is no way we can get something major for Randle. We need to get rid of him and consider freeing up cap space as the return
Randle isn't that good. He has flashes of brilliance but he's basically an inefficient ball hog that can frequently be a loose cannon
Scoot is better than IQ and Grimes, sure he can play along side of Brunson

Blazers need a stretch 4 and Randle is a Stretch 4, at least in the regular season LOL. NO way Blazers give up 3rd pick now, when they had zero interest last summer giving us lower pick in a weaker draft for Randle. And cap space for Blazers won't work. So, it's a pipe dream

Wasn’t IQ the runner up to 6MOY? What was he confused about his role? IQ is one of my favorite players. He just didn’t shoot well. Defensively, he was excellent.
The Knicks lost to MIA because their key players didn’t make buckets. 21% from the field from everyone except JB not going to cut it.
I hate to break it to you….Julius Randle will be with NYK for the duration of his contract. LR and company will not make a deal without extracting equal or greater value.
Knivks not that far away from competing for the ECF. No big moves needed to compete at that level. If we run back same team I believe we are a 50 win team (due to development of all our players). Only trade that make sense for us would be quickly and Randle for J Grant and some future picks. Grant has higher OQ which allows great ball movement. He's also a great defender and can stretch the floor. Obi would get good mins now. Knicks can also sign Alec Burkes to fill in for quickly (who wants to be a starter). Our bench would not miss a beat.

I hate to disagree, but the problem with Quickly and Hart in the post season was that they simply choked. The just didn't show up for the most important time of the season. With Hart I don't buy the fact that his wife gave birth as the reason why he wasn't focused. Bottom line again, Quickly and Hart choked when it mattered the most.
IfIf you build around dame and three years down the road you need to rebuild again is sharp gonna hang around I doubt it
