Too late – written off. The Heat's season is already a success IMO, not getting swept will just be icing on the cake. And is JJ trying to trademark the word "Alfred" or what? All I ever hear out of his mouth for the last month.

I’m worried about the size but I feel they have a better chance of locking up Jamal and the supporting casting jokic can score 50 and they’ll lose. When gsw beat the nuggets. Also combine that with the Miami heat 3. It’s not impossible.

The Heat always play hard with a lot of effort. They always have a chance no matter who they play against. Honestly in last year's finals the heat would have forced golden state to 7 games if they made the finals, although golden state would have eventually won in my opinion.
Nuggets don't have rim protector.

Imo the zone is the most effective against iso heavy guards/wings. I think Denvers style of play will tear it to pieces and it will be completely ineffective. Maybe, maybe if Murray heats up and goes crazy its a way to slow him down.
Miami has been overlooked and underestimated this whole playoff. On the other hand, if there is a guy who can find the holes in that zone and pick it apart, it’s Jokic.
JJ you make a great point, and I think it is sort of laughable how much the Heat have continued to be undervalued/overlooked. That said, I do think the Lakers were/are a very good defensive team and the Nuggets shredded them. Now, I think the Heat are still great on D and better than the Lakers on offense (or have been in the Playoffs), but it's hard for me to see a path for the Heat to win four times. Definitely think it goes 6, though.
Everyone is overlooking AG and it's hilarious. Good luck finding bodies to guard him when he crashes the board after a pick and roll.

Heat is the cute story, but c'mon Denver is heavy favorite, i know that favorites doesn't win all the times, but something really extraordinary have to happen to miami wins this series.

Murray or Jokic twist an ankle then the Heat have a great chance but the Nuggets are really playing well although I expect the Heat will win game 1. Nuggets are too well rested!

The heat do make talented teams play poorly, but the nuggets have been the #1 scorers against a zone defense this season. The heat will have to make an adjustment.
Coach Spo has been one of the more underrated coaches for some time now.
Can we call out the haters who like the underdog-centric narratives until the Lakers are those underdogs? People are talking about the Heat in the same way they talked about the Lakers: "Can Bam do X? Can Spo do Y?" I'm not hearing "Can Malone adjust to the zone?" And that's fine, the Nuggets are projected to win. But I am seeing none of the hatred the Lakers got thus far.
The difference between BOS and DEN is BOS often beats themselves with poor decision making. DEN have a playmaking savant in jokic and counters to everything. Miami will make it interesting no doubt but I just think DEN is firing on all cylinders right now.

Ppl think that the Nuggets will overlook the Heat. Despite losing 2 games wiyh two nuclear weapons (Durant and Booker), the Nuggets played great defensively. The C’s were not good as last year. The bucks, Giannis was hurt so the momentum was on their side but they beat them. For me, it will come down to bruce brown jeff green and aaron gordon. If they can slow down gabe vincent and caleb martin, they will not lose. On the other hand, the nuggets need to be aware with how K love and Lowry are gonna try to pull some offensive fouls.
Agreed with this – I do think the Nugs will do it but you cannot write off this heat side. If (and it’s a huge if) Jokic has a few off nights or the heat find a way to shut him down then they can win it all for sure

Jimmy probably still has it out for Jokic since last year. That's probably enough motivation to push this series to another 6 or 7 games. As not a fan for either team and just a basketball fan in general, I just want to see an exciting finals! Can't wait for Thursday!
Y’all should overlook the Heat. The Nuggets ranked 1st on offense against zone defense which is the Heat’s bread and butter. Jokic will feast on Bum Adebayo’s defense all series long. If a Tier 1 defensive big man like AD couldn’t stop Jokic, what makes y’all think Adebayo can? Expect Jokic to average close to 36, 10 and 12 in this series. Unlike Boston who has no dawg, the Nuggets have Murray who’s known to completely go off on offense. I think Caleb Martin would need some help in this series.
Jimmy Butler was mediocre against the Celtics, and they almost choked a 3-0 lead because Butler is MIA in pivotal games but don’t listen to me. Check Butler’s awful shooting splits.

I don't think Miami défence will be great against Jokic. Dude is an European, so he's used to zone defense, and there is only bam to defend him for the Heat. Only solution would be cutting him from the rest of the team, let him get tired. And hope bam can hold on.
The heat have been fun to watch and I was rooting for them in the East but Denver has already played the second best team in Phoenix Suns and beat them at this point anyone out of the East is just a formality…

Nuggets still the underdogs, in my opinion and thats the way we like it. We are the newcomers and Jimmy is the media darling. We were pivked to lose by the 2nd round pretty much unanimously. We have a chip on our shoulders too. Gonna be a great series.
