[Berman] “I did get yelled at a few times about we didn’t sign a big man at the buyout,” Bob Myers said with a smile. “It’s not as easy as everyone thinks. We do like big guys, contrary to popular belief. Joe, especially, likes size. He’ll tell you himself.”

Dude me and Joe thought the same thing because I thought (which we should’ve) we need size on our team too

Wow. Bob with a not so subtle jab at Kerr.

So does this mean that kerr do not like big men?

Damn I always knew Lacob was a size queen

From this comment and the one back at deadline, sounds like FO was looking into it but looked at the options and was like, “None of these guys who I can reasonably get are going to see time in playoffs because they aren’t good enough to avoid getting played off court”. Which to be fair was true. Any middling big man would have been unplayable against the quick Kings, AD Lakers, and most of all Jokic.

Glad I’m not the only one who got the unintended innuendo.

That’s true but I wonder really how hard was it to get a useable big man. I mean how did we make it work with Festus Ezili, Andrew Bogut, and hell even Boogie but we couldn’t find another big outside of LoonGod.

I know Wiseman wasn’t fitting what we needed, but couldn’t we sign a veteran somewhere and add length as opposed to the numerous guards we have?
