Despite the Myers news, this is still an off season I’m gonna find really interesting. Really can’t wait to see what the team does.
I actually think we’re in for a painful offseason moment or two. Someone is gonna go. Everyone wants it to be Poole on sentiment. If it’s purely a luxury tax relief item. It might not be the guy everyone has it put for. It might be the guy other teams can easily assume into their finances. Just musing.
Just thinking back about when Bob said during his presser yesterday that he got to speak to *most* of the main guys beforehand. Iโm just imagining that the reason itโs โmostโ is because he tried calling Klay a couple times but Klay being Klay didnโt pick up and hasnโt called back (see Kerrโs story about how when he was first hired as the coach, he called Bob one day shortly after starting the job and asked if he could think of a reason Klay could be mad at him because he had tried calling Klay several times to make intros but Klay wouldnโt call him back ๐) and probably still doesnโt have a clue Bob stepped down and will end up learning about it later this week when heโs on his boat doing an Instagram live and sees someone make a comment about it ๐
Remember, still a world class front office. Lots of players want to come play for this organization. And with Steph. Poole wanted to get paid and take the risk. Now the CBA is what it is. Poole has a lot of potential. He will be okay.
