Speculation seems to be because JB is from Atlanta, he follows Young on IG and they had a “lengthy conversation” after the Celtics beat the Hawks in the playoffs. So, potatoes.
If the Hawks could pull off a Murray for JB trade (plus others/picks) I could see that benefiting both teams.
Good. Anyone who still wants him needs to go watch his game 7 performance. Dude CAN NOT dribble the ball. He had 8 turnovers all on his own, more than the rest of the Celtics combined. He is not the answer for the Blazers.
I don’t understand why people are so enamored with Brown. His true shooting is pretty awful – outside of the top 100, at 58%. 82nd in win shares. 12th in usage (being high with the rest of his numbers is glaring). 81st in assist percentage. 65th in rebound percentage.
He’s an above average defender who is a turnover machine (he seemingly still hasn’t figured out how to hone his handling in year 7, which means it’s never coming) and doesn’t adequately contribute in other areas aside from scoring to make up for it.
