I would love to know what actually happened during this KD/Kyrie and even Harden era. It really was a circus. As you said which I agree with there is a lot of blame to go around. There was so much mismanagement by the FO and problems created by the kind of superstar players they got, each in their own way and each to different degrees. Jeff Green was definitely someone they really should of made sure to keep but just didn’t prioritize it. The Nets gave Patty Mills the kind of contract they did but not Bruce Brown which makes no sense. That probably is because KD didn’t’ get along with him and it was clear he didn’t like what BB said before that Boston series as well. The FO gave the players a lot of say in decision making starting from the beginning but then took it all back. Can’t have it both ways. It appears there was never a middle ground reached and that was the problem. And when you look at personalities of Kyrie, Harden and even KD those aren’t bad people by any means but they aren’t Steph, Giannis, Jokic, etc… in terms of being flexible and trying to work things out and added to problems themselves again each in different ways and to different degrees.
