Who remembers Ramon Sessions being our starting PG on opening night that season? And now we have Brunson

The crazy part of that was Steve Mills giving Tim Hardaway Jr. a 4yr /72M contract right after Phil got fired when we already had Courtney Lee on the roster

Just one of the dark times we’ve had. Still, pretty vomit inducing nonetheless.

2021 off-season signings to put the team over the top after disappointing playoffs is gonna be a thorn in the team’s side for a couple more years, so he’s getting the axe before he does it again
He drafted relatively well and made savvy trades for the most part so I’m glad he’s staying around through the draft

Scott Perry left the team much better than he found it, I can’t think of a GM in recent memory that did that. He isn’t leaving due to job performance but rather his role being more transitional with the Rose administration coming in just a couple of years ago.

Tbf Kanter was probably salary filler from the Melo trade right? But oh boy those other contracts we signed there are gross. Keep in mind how much cap has increased since then too, it’s 30% higher today than it was 2017/18

For the record , Enes Kanter played hard and produced.
