We needed a player like cam reddish down the stretch the coach was the problem no adjustments
If Randle shows up ( excuses aside ), I believe that the Knicks would have beaten Miami and Boston. Once RJ woke up in the playoffs minus his 1 /10 game against Miami. It shouldn't have been that difficult. When Randle, Brunson, Grimes, and RJ are playing at their best, you saw what they could do together. Thibs also didn't help the situation with his stubbornness. Unfortunately, it didn't happen for us and we went home earlier than we hoped. But hitting the panic button so fast can also backfire on the Knicks. Moving on from RJ, Randle, or both after just making it to the 2nd rd for the wrong player or players can come back and haunt the Knicks in the long run. I think this team is much better ( with a little tweaking ) next season because of this experience.

The real issue holding the NYK back is Julius Randle. He is just not a good fit for this team. You can see that by the style of play when he's not in the game. What they DO NOT need to do is make any mass changes. The move to me would be to add KP and subtract Randle via a sign and trade with DC. He's definitely opting out and can force his way to NYC if that's what he wants. It's a trade that would help both teams, probably the NYK more though. Between KP and Obi, you will at least replace what you lose with Randle.
I would love a trade straight swap Randle for Zion. I appreciate he is injury prone, but he’s only 22 and at least when he’s out Obi gets more minutes. Zion fully fit, we would be a different team
