monty > vogel… but we'll see. decent hire given the scarce coaching situations around the league.
People forget Vogel is one of the greatest defensive coaches ever. Even when the lakers were bad they still ranked top 2 in the nba in defensive efficiency.
Frank Vogel and Kevin Young could be the coaching duo

honestly all I want is a coach who will inspire Ayton. I think the suns can pretty much coach themselves. With CP3, KD, and Book you don't need much help figuring things out. However, Ayton is still developing and needs a coach who will support him and I hope Vogel can do that
Iβm happy for Frank, if that suns team buys in on DEFENSE ,they could be dangerous. But that team has no defense so kinda see the logic cause Vogel has a great defensive mind. , Vogel has pretty bad offensive schemes (iso ball) but good offensive players. Like I said that team has to commit to his defense or they go nowhere.

I think this is exactly what the suns need. A defensive minded coach. But if the suns have similar roster next year even vogel ain't saving them from getting bounched in the first round.
Coming from a Lakers fan he's a good coach, he did become a scapegoat and he did have some terrible rotations but with the right players he can work it out but we didn't have those last time. Suns still need to fill that roster with players who'll actually play defense.

As a suns fan I like this signing bc we got the offensive power and getting a defensive minded coach will help but we just need better role players(defensive) but overall I think itβs a good signing

As a Pacers fan, I think this is definitely without a doubt a fat L. Forgot this man still coached. He had lebron and Micky on his side. I do think the Detroit pickup is massive though.
Frank is a defensive coach and what do the suns suck at? Defence this man could change this team I can definitely see them as a #3-1 seed next season as long as they sign some decent role players and donβt get Kyrie or Harden because that will not work out
