We had a never-ending circulation of Celtics that would go in and out over the years due to our roster overhauls and trying to save space and aim for the fences. (Which we did by getting the Jays.)
I’ll never forget when we had rumors of Kevin Love going to the Celtics all because Rajon Rondo was seen with him at Fenway Park. How we thought James Young and Marcus Smart was our future backcourt, (still holding out hope James Young makes an NBA return,) how Jared Sullinger, aka Sully was the next Kevin Love, but kept bricking 3’s. How beloved Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace was due to their tenacity and hustling, (we hated the everloving shit out of them after the PP/KG trade, but we warmed up to them.)
And the jokes we would make about Danny Ainge’s love affairs with undersized guards.
How we all overreacted after Jordan Mickey’s 3 blocks in 5 seconds, and we thought he was the next best thing.
And the times when Doc Rivers had a huge infatuation with small-ball by putting Brandon Bass at the 5.
