Creating this image was a journey in itself. I began with a sketch and an Image Prompt in MidJourney, generating around 200 images until I found one that sparked my creativity. From there, I produced multiple variations, each with its own quirks – a strange hand here, crossed eyes there. I used these iterations as a foundation, taking an eye here, a nose there, refining the image with my Wacom tablet and Photoshop to add detail, composite elements, and make final color corrections in Adobe Camera Raw.
I know there’s some debate in the art community about using AI in the creative process. But in my view, it’s a powerful tool that can help artists bring their visions to life more efficiently. It’s not about replacing traditional techniques, but enhancing them.
I’m continually refining my workflow and am excited to start incorporating animation into my work soon. This weekend alone, I’ve spent about 20 hours learning, experimenting, and troubleshooting. If you appreciate what I’m doing and want to see more, I’d be grateful if you could follow me on Instagram (@SASpursArt). Every follower counts and I truly appreciate the support!
